The unnamed Man in Elevator is a minor character in Elf. He works at the Empire State Building.
He was portrayed by Murray Jack.

History[]
He first appears in an elevator in the Empire State Building that Buddy enters. He watches as Buddy presses all of the buttons in the elevator and comments that it looks like a Christmas tree. The man smiled in response. When the elevator reaches Buddy's floor, Buddy apologizes to the man that he couldn't ride with him anymore and steps out. As the elevator doors close, Buddy realizes he forgot to give the man a hug and tries to do so but the doors have closed. The man is not seen again for the rest of the film.
