Marvin Finklehimer is a recurring character in The Amazing World of Gumball. He is an elderly red bean with a brown hat and walks with a cane around Elmore.
He is voiced by Dan Russell. In "The Lady," he is voiced by Liza Ross when he disguise himself as Violet.
Why isn't he heroic or villainous?[]
- He is a minor character who does nothing heroic.
- His antagonistic acts amount to him being a jerk, so he doesn't qualify as a villain.
Personality[]
Marvin is seen with his friends, the senior citizens. He is somewhat energetic for an old man as seen in "The Responsible" where he is teasing Anais by feeding her with a biscuit. But just like every other elderly people, he is frail and stubborn.
Marvis lacks technology because younger generations are using technology to somewhat help with their lives. He describes technology preventing younger generations from listening to the stories of elders. He subsequently tries to prevent Gumball and Darwin from escaping and finding the internet.
Marvin is flirtatious, as he goes on a date with the hexagon lady or when he tries to date Karen, although he's frail and weak seconds before.

- In "The Debt," he is referred to as Bert. But in "The Watch," his full name is Marvin Finklehimer.
- Marvin is in his 80s.
