The Mernos is a Wingdrake that was originally seen in Monster Hunter: World.
Scatternuts are the food source for these Wingdrakes. When spooked, the flock will travel long distances, which makes them an excellent means of transportation for astute hunters. They are located in Wildspire Waste and the Ancient Forest.
Why aren't they heroic or villainous?[]
Physiology[]
Mernos are wingdrakes that have some similarities to Dimorphodon and other rhamphorynchoid pterosaur species. They feature blue skin, a long tail with a golden tip, and beaks that resemble hatchets.
Abilities and Behavior[]
They traverse the primordial woodlands in search of nuts and are calm toward hunters. Because they live in small flocks, the others will follow if one of them goes anywhere. The new world's hunters frequently exploit them as beasts-of-burden.
