Mishap is a bean who keeps a rattlesnake as a pet and gets his left eye bitten by it, dying from the venom.

Appearance

Mishap has the body of a capsule and is a boring green bean. He occasionally sports eyebrows, notably when he appears in 2D video games like Dumb Ways to Die and Dumb Ways to Die 2: The Games. He doesn't appear in 3D games like Dumb Ways to Die 3: World Tour (except from a promotional video) or Dumb Ways to Die 4. From his point of view, he is holding onto his left eye like an orange rattlesnake. In the promotional poster, he and the rattlesnake appeared more brownish. He may have a lime-colored body rather than a drab green one in his more recent appearances.

Videos

Mishap is seen showing the rattlesnake the hot dog he is carrying. He is then killed and falls backwards as it clamps on his eye. He is a Secondary Dancer in the chorus.

Games

The player's train station can unlock Mishap at a score of 1000 in the previous edition and 204800 in the current one. He is the 30th item that may be unlocked in the new version and the sixth character to reach the train station in both versions.

The player must squirt the mustard on the hotdog that Mishap is holding in the game. The player will pat the rattlesnake's head after it eats the hotdog if he wins. The rattlesnake will grab the player's eye if he fails. Mishap will not tumble backwards, in contrast to the video.
