One of the supporting characters in the Disney/Pixar Toy Story movie series is Molly Davis. She is Mrs. Davis's only daughter and Andy's younger sister. In the first movie, she is a baby; in the second, she is a toddler; in the third, she is a preteen at the age of twelve; and in the fourth, she is a kindergartener during flashbacks. When she was little, she owned both Barbie and Bo Peep.
Why isn't she heroic or villainous?[]
- She is just a normal person living a normal life without heroism or villainy. The best thing she did was being nice to others through her acts, which is far from heroic.
- She wasn't even aware that her toys were sapient.
Biography[]
Toy Story[]
As a one-year-old toddler, Molly barely makes a few appearances and plays a little role. Andy is playing when Mr. Potato Head ends up in "jail" early in the film, which also happens to be her crib. Despite Mr. Potato Head's later objections, Molly drools all over him and dissects him. Andy then brings her downstairs for his birthday celebration. The event with Molly stated before also led to Mr. Potato Head mockingly calling her "Princess Drool." When she sees Woody and Buzz in her mirror as they attempt to get to the moving truck, she laughs while listening to "Hakuna Matata" from The Lion King in the automobile toward the conclusion. Mr. Potato Head, who had wished for her in the first part of the movie, is thrilled when she gets a Mrs. Potato Head toy for Christmas at the end of the movie.
Toy Story 2[]
Molly has an appearance at the beginning while being held by her mother, and at the end when, with Andy's assistance, she takes her first steps. Bo Peep, who is looking in her room for Woody's hat, mentions her. When Jessie worries that Andy would not like her, Woody, who is positive that Andy will love her, says, "[Andy] has a little sister!" which makes Jessie delighted. This is the second time he mentions her while he and Jessie are on the plane.
Toy Story 3[]
At the age of twelve, Molly appears in Toy Story 3. She first appears in Andy's room, giggling because Andy is still playing with his old toys while receiving lectures from both their mother and Andy. After deciding to give away several of her possessions, including Barbie, to Sunnyside Daycare, she reads a magazine called "Tween Time" and listens to music. At the conclusion, she is shown asking Andy, "Aren't you going to say goodbye to Buster?"
Toy Story 4[]
During the film's opening flashback sequence, which takes place prior to Toy Story 3, Molly briefly appears. She continues to live with her mother even though her brother is a college student. Her mother and an unidentified visitor are shown her chamber, and they give Bo Peep to them. Woody mentions her once he gets back together with Bo, but she is never seen again. They tell their new friend, Giggles McDimples, that Molly used to cry every night as a baby because she was afraid of the dark, which made the toys all extremely sad. Molly was able to sleep soundly, though, after Bo was put in her room as a nightlight. Although Bo has pleasant memories of this, he brushes it off because she had a new purpose in life and was no longer a lost toy. But because of the fun she had with Molly, Bo was persuaded to assist Woody in saving a handmade toy for Bonnie, his present owner.
