Mosswine are Herbivores introduced in Monster Hunter.
Why aren't they heroic or villainous?[]
- All they did are just what animals do such as finding mushrooms. They are docile to the hunter unless if the hunter attacks first.
Physiology[]
Mosswine are little pigs covered in moss. Their skull plate is spiky and gray. It's common knowledge that mosswine love mushrooms. Marketers and hunters frequently look for them to determine where Special Mushrooms are found.
Behavior[]
Despite their peaceful demeanor, mosswine will attack if provoked, whether by hunters or other monsters. When a wyvern is around, they can be lethal because they become hostile even if they are struck by a wind effect. They are mostly hunted for their meat and their capacity to track mushrooms.
