Biography[]
Moto Moto appears in both the video game adaptation of Madagascar: Escape 2 Africa and as a minor character in the original game. He is a big, attractive, muscular hippo with a deep, sensual voice that likes to flirt with female hippos by pronouncing his name or clenching his chest. He is a ladies' man, not very intelligent, and is characterized as "aggressive but friendly." Gloria is delighted when he falls in love with her, since he likewise embodies the ideal male hippo appearance. But he later admits, on their lakeside date, that the only reason he truly loves her is because of her physique. Gloria puts up with this till Melman appears and tells him everything Gloria detests and finds appealing. Gloria learns from this that Melman accepts her for her true self, faults and all. Gloria and Moto separate, albeit amicably. Later on, the two are shown excavating to search for any water, but all they discover are gold and diamonds.
