The Night Lights are the minor characters from the How to Train Your Dragon franchise that first appeared in How to Train Your Dragon: The Hidden World.

Biography[]
The three baby Night Lights—Dart, Pouncer, and Ruffrunner—were born to Toothless and his mate after the dragons of the Hooligan Tribe had moved from New Berk to dwell in the Hidden World.
A decade or so after Toothless and Hiccup split up, he reflects on the past while sketching a portrait of his rider and New Berk in the sand. Dart becomes interested in the picture's history as he becomes weary of the Hidden World's regular rituals. Dart persuades her brothers Pouncer and Ruffrunner to smuggle themselves out of the Hidden World and travel to New Berk with her in order to learn more about their father's background while their parents are asleep.
As Hiccup and the other Vikings are getting ready for the Snoggletog Pageant, they arrive at New Berk. They sneak up on Hiccup unnoticed (Dart identifying Hiccup from a photo of Toothless), but they back off when they find Hiccup with his mechanical Toothless puppet, thinking it for their father. After dodging a sheep that would have revealed their whereabouts, they fly up to a cliffside.
They stumble across their parents on the cliffside, who start berating them right once for leaving the Hidden World. The Snoggletog Pageant starts before Toothless and the Light Fury have a chance to correct them. The dragon family chooses to remain and take in the show.
Gobber accidently sets the stage on fire, which immediately throws the pageant into disarray. The Night Lights watch as their father saves Hiccup from a cliff's edge and stands in for Hiccup during the series' conclusion when Toothless explains to them the connection that dragons and Vikings had. Shortly after Toothless meets Zephyr, Hiccup's daughter, their family takes off in a flying cab.
The family visits the Haddock home before departing, where they eat a dish Hiccup made with Toothless' preferred fish and leave a sparkling crystal from the Hidden World as a present. In time to see Toothless, the Light Fury, and the Night Lights soar out of New Berk and back towards the Hidden World, the Haddocks arrive at their house.
Following the arrival of Toothless' family to New Berk, Hiccup, Astrid, and their kids pay a visit to their dragons at the Hidden World. To defend his family, Toothless takes a defensive position on their boat as they get to the entry since he first doesn't know Hiccup. Eventually, Toothless does detect Hiccup's recognizable scent and joyfully reunites with his former rider. The Light Fury and the Night Lights may then be seen flying behind Hiccup and Astrid when they are seen with their children in Toothless and Stormfly, respectively.
