At the Freedonian cheese festival, she saw her son Niko dancing while waiting a girl to took his cheese. Margo by the insist of Lucy, took a bite of Niko's cheese. Later Niko confessed his feelings to Margo but the proposal was stopped by Lucy.
After that, Niko's mother angrily showed up and insulted Lucy and Margo by wishing them death, only for Lucy to threaten her to not to curse Margo and told them to leave.

While she is shown to care for her two sons, she is capable of being cranky and mean, as she directly insults Margo and Lucy for rejecting Niko's engagement pig.
