Numpty is a bean in the Dumb Ways to Dieseries who set fire to his hair.

Appearance

Numpty is an oval-shaped bean that is blue. He is primarily depicted with his head burning throughout the story, though occasionally he is seen without the flames.

Video

In the video, three of the dandelion's seeds are blown away. Then, horrified, Numpty is shown sprinting toward the camera along a dirt path while wearing a fire hat. Before Hapless's line, the screen is covered by the flames on his hair.

Games

As the ninth bean to reach the train station in every version, Numpty can be unlocked for the train station. To unlock him in the 2013–2020 versions, 1600 points are needed. To unlock him, 500000 points are needed by the end of 2020. In the current iterations, he is also the 48th item to be unlocked.

The fire will gradually go out as the player taps the screen as quickly as they can to make Numpty go. Numpty will joyfully raise his arms if the player taps enough times to put out the fire before the allotted time has passed. He will now be bald, but he will be happy that he is safe. He will topple over and the screen will be consumed by flames if they don't tap frequently enough or at all.
