The Odogaron are a species that appears in the science fantasy videogame, Monster Hunter: World.
Why aren’t they heroic or villainous?[]
- They are mainly minding their own business until the hunter comes.
Physiology[]
Odogaron can move quickly since it is quadrupedal. It has bony protrusions that mimic bone and muscular tissue, as well as crimson scales covering it. Its tail, which doubles as a club, is very bony. The most characteristic feature of an odogaran is its double row of claws, which it employs to slice its victim's flesh deeply. Its back will glow with crimson veins once it has eaten.
Abilities[]
Odogaron is a very nimble monster in spite of its bulk. It can quickly approach its target and use its strong jaws to bite it. With its two sets of claws, Odogaron can sever severe wounds in its victim, forcing them to bleed to death. Odogaron occasionally appears to be dragging dead back to its cave. It is possible to break Odogaron's skull and front claws, as well as injure and cut its tail.
Odogaron has the ability to go into a unique, furious condition in which it will glow red veins on its back and spit air out of its lips. Every time Odogaron has consumed a Legiana Corpse or a piece of flesh that occasionally occurs in its mouth upon spawning in, it transforms into this unique, angry condition. Usually, Master Rank Odogaron spawns in this unique, ferocious state. Odogaron has a reputation for leaping upon most monsters and breaking their backs or skulls.
Odogaron only launches one or two attacks due to exhaustion. The monster usually shakes itself off at least twice or three times after its condition ends. A hunter will have ample opportunity to launch unopposed attacks as a result. When the Hunter is worn out, Odogaron will also consume the raw meat that was dropped by him; this will turn it into its unique angry condition. It is strongly advised to avoid eating drugged, tinned, or poisoned meat for better outcomes. If you manage to stun the monster, it can wake up right away and launch a vicious assault on the Hunter or Palico that stunned it. Normally, this procedure yields a drop as soon as Odogaron ceases its attack.
Behavior[]
Odogaron is a very hostile creature who searches the Rotten Vale seeking carrion. It attacks whatever life it comes into contact with without hesitation or concern for its own survival since it views anything that gets in its path as a possible meal. In battle, it defeats Radobaan, Great Girros, and Paolumu, but it is surpassed by Vaal Hazak and Deviljho—the latter grabbing Odogaron in its mouth and hurling it, while the former uses its Effluvia to drain it.
