| ~ Orville introducing the titular character in a video footage. |
Orville Park is the overarching antagonist of Glitch Productions' indie animated sci-fi psychological thriller series, Knights of Guinevere.
Orville is the founder and previous owner of Park Planet, as well as Olivia Park's father and the creator of Guinevere.
He is voiced by SungWon Cho, who also voices Sir Arthur in the same series, Mordecai in Lackadaisy, Abby Saja in K-Pop Demon Hunters, The Badcomputer in Batwheels.
Why isn't he heroic or villainous?[]
He had short screentime, and was already deceased in the events, and was only shown in a past event while handing the park to his daughter. His only good deeds were to create the Park Planet and Guinevere herself. However, what made him antagonistic is that he didn't care when Olivia tortured Gwen a lot, leading the latter to trauma.
Appearance[]
Orville is an older man who is quite shorter than his android creation, Guinevere. His hair is black with gray sideburns and a black mustache on his face, he also has a blue dot on the left side of his head. He wears a purple suit and undershirt, with a chain stretching across his suit that has a four-pointed star pin. He can also be seen wearing a black belt with a white buckle, along with a black undershirt and gray tie.
Personality[]
Orville appears to be very cheerful, speaking in a jolly voice that's full of life. While this is most likely a facade, not a lot is known about his true self or his motives. It's shown he cares a lot about his daughter, Olivia . While at first it seems like genuine care, he shows little regard for her discipline or dark and sinister actions, enabling her bad behaviors that persist into her adulthood when she takes over the park.
Biography[]
PILOT[]
The episode begins with a flashback, as the narrator tells the story of The Princess (Guinevere) who must be rescued from The Tower and Olivia. Soon after, Orville Park enters the room and takes both girls with him. Atop the tower, he presents his daughter to Park Planet, a world he built for her birthday. He describes it as a place where "everyone who comes and goes will eventually be under her watchful care," claiming it could make up for something. She then pulls Gwen by a rope tied to her heart, causing pain. In that moment, Gwen seizes the chance to escape. While Orville panics and calls for security, Olivia calmly waits for her return so she can continue her fixing.
Moments later, an advertisement for Park Planet plays, featuring Orville Park showcasing the park and Princess Guinevere, and her various models.
