The Paolumu are a species that are from the science fantasy videogame, Monster Hunter: World.
Why aren’t they heroic or villainous?[]
- They are mainly minding their own business until the hunter comes.
Physiology[]
Despite its status as a Flying Wyvern, Paolumu greatly resembles a mammal instead of a reptile, with its appearance being most comparable to the real life Honduran White Bat. Even though it has mammalian characteristics, it is still a reptile as confimed to be related to other flying wyverns. Paolumu has a pink face and white fur, just as the aforementioned bat species. Paolumu has hair all over its body, but its back, underside, and tail are also coated in brown scales. Buck teeth of the Paolumu resemble rodents. This is due to the fact that Paolumu's meal consists of the eggs that are sucked in by the coral utilizing its extraordinary breathing ability. There are wounds on Paolumu's head, wings, and tail.
Behavior and Abilities[]
Paolumu has a unique air sac inside his neck that expands when it draws in sufficient air. Paolumu may strike enemies from above by floating in midair like a balloon once its air sac has expanded. Paolumu will bash enemies nearby with its powerful tail when it's floating. In addition to breathing wind at opponents, Paolumu may also utilize its ability to pull in predators by drawing them in close or causing them to stumble. Both climbing and assaulting Paolumu's neck are ways for hunters to deflate it.
Paolumu don't usually act aggressively unless threatened. They will turn hostile if provoked. A hunter must attack Paolumu before it will strike. In the Coral Highlands, Paolumu is surpassed by Deviljho, Legiana, and Odogaron.
