Peppa Pig is the protagonist of the English cartoon of the same name. She is a 4 year old pig, daughter of the Daddy Pig and Mummy Pig and big sister of George.
In 2004, she was voiced by Lily Snowden-Fine. From 2006-2007, she was voiced by Cecily Bloom. From 2007-2020, she was voiced by Harley Bird. Since 2020, she has been voiced by Amelie Bea Smith.
Overview[]
Peppa is four years old as shown in the episode "My Birthday Party". Her best friend is Suzy Sheep and she has a goldfish called Goldie. She wears a red dress, a white nappy and black shoes. And her playgroup teacher is Madam Gazelle. Lily Snowden-Fine provides Peppa's singing voice and serves as her lead song vocalist.
Personality[]
Peppa is a naive girl who loves to play with her friends and his brother George, but can be self-centered and almost always wants to be the center of attention, teases her little brother and competes against her friends. But she is generally a good kid at heart. Her best friends at school are Rebecca, Suzy, Candy, Danny, Zoë, Emily, Freddy, Wendy, Gerald, Molly, Peggi and Pandora, Mandy and Pedro.
Peppa is a very perky and energetic pig. She likes to do certain hobbies (e.g. jumping in puddles; playing with her teddy bear, Teddy; going to playgroup.
Trivia[]
- In 2009, Peppa sung and appeared alongside various other children's TV characters in the music video to "The Official BBC Children in Need Medley" by Peter Kay's Animated All Star Band.
