Plant Holder is one of the contestants in animated object show series, Another Boring Competition.
He is a nonchalant plant holder who is laidback. Though, he is seen to be somewhat needy.
He is voiced by starcountry02.
Biography[]
1 | "Better than Lebron James"[]
Plant Holder is first seen saving Nautilusy from being crushed by a falling piano that came from a portal created by Neon Sign's portal gun after she had gotten into a scuffle with Perfume. He would tell the two to be careful, telling Perfume to stop annoying Neon Sign and telling Neon Sign to work on something less lethal next time. Nautilusy is grateful for Plant Holder's heroic act. He would then tell her that she is the only one he considers normal, which causes Nautilusy to suggest being friends. He agrees to be friends with her.
After the hosts arrive via Neon Sign's portal due to a scuffle with CRT, He is won over alongside the others to compete in their when they reveal a plushie with magical powers and the smell of recently-washed laundry as the show prize.
The mandatory team-making for the first challenge begins, and Plant Holder asks Nautilusy if they are going to be on the same team. Nautilusy suggests they be on separate teams to decide on which teams are better and to not risk elimination for the both of them. Plant Holder would join Daffodyl's team following Building with his questionable vocabulary of calling his team "very sigma". His team would later be called "Pickaxe Is So Stupid "(PISS) during the challenge.
The challenge begins, it being to score the most in a basketball dunking challenge. Plant Holder compliments Daffodyl scoring a point, and asks him how he is going to win the challenge with an incompetent team. Daffodyl replies with looking at it more optimistically. Pickaxe willingly goes next from Daffodyl's words and fails to score a point, where Plant Holder would sarcastically say to just get to the voting screen.
Plant Holder isn't seen doing the challenge, but is implied to have not scored due to being armless.
Perfume and Mint would also fail to score, where Plant Holder would scold them as they had arms. With Building being last to score for his team, Plant Holder decides to motivate Building by recalling a time where Building had his lunch money stolen by a guy in Louisiana and spent it on V-Bucks in Fortnite and making him imagine his face on the hoop, inciting him to smack the ball on his face. It works, and Building successfully scores a point for his team.
However, Building scoring goes in vain, as Up Arrow would also score for her team, beating his team by one point, putting his team up for elimination.
2 | "Pollen Pampering"[]
Plant Holder appears during the elimination, titled "Eliminuh Time". Plant Holder is safe with 105 positive votes and 23 negative votes, with 82 votes overall, the most out of his team. He receives the elimination prize, a cup of mint bubble tea. Out of their team, Perfume receives the most negative votes, but is going to play a part in the challenge.
When they are allowed to change teams, Nautilusy talks to Plant Holder about their teams. With them collectively agreeing their teams are incompetent, both of them decide to break off their teams and form their own team. His team, "The Sanes" would be formed.
The challenge begins, it being to collect flowers from The Great Plains to fill their team's respective vases. Nautilusy and Plant Holder are left unbothered by Perfume, despite her efforts. However, Nautilusy is then approached by the hosts to create background props for the background due to it "affecting the ratings", getting a non-magical plushie in return. She agrees, and tells Plant Holder to deal with the challenge while she creates the props.
After some time. Plant Holder would return to his vase with a newly-filled basket of flowers, where he would encounter Perfume sitting on an unfinished prop by Nautilusy, who was doing her prop-making near her team's vase. Plant Holder would ask Perfume about her constant aggression. She would reply with it being her view of getting people to follow her orders, but points out her hatred towards Neon Sign is aggression. Nautilusy would then point out that she doesn't recall Neon Sign doing anything bad towards her to justify her hatred, and asks her if she hates Neon Sign due to her identity. She denies, saying it's one of the few things she supports about her. Plant Holder would then ask Perfume if she has another reason, She is unable to think of a reason, and realizes she doesn't feel anything about her, despite having a constant hatred towards her, with her eyes subtly glitching. She then snaps out and simply says that "she just feels like that yaknow", leaving Nautilusy and Plant Holder in confusion.
Plant Holder eventually finished the challenge for Nautilusy and are safe from elimination, before witnessing Perfume's elimination, leaving them shocked.

Plant Holder will definitely appear in the next episode of ABC. To be determined.
Personality[]
Plant Holder is nonchalant, who also seems to act as a voice of reason, as seen when he tells off Perfume and Neon Sign after their scuffle. However, his statements might come off as somewhat untrue, as he believes that Nautilusy is the only one who he considers "normal" within the area, despite it being true.
Why isn't he Heroic nor Villainous?[]
As of episode 2:
- He doesn't do any action considerably heroic or heinous to pass baseline villainy nor heroism, besides being a voice of reason.
