PlayerOne (also stylized as Player One) is the main antagonist of the Minecraft fan song Entropy of Vengeance.

He was the former master of the Wolf as well as the creator of the world that the main bulk of the music video takes place in. After leaving his world behind ten years ago, the mobs inside begin forming a cult where they would sacrifice their souls in order to create the Wither, break out of the world, and get revenge on PlayerOne.

Why isn't he Heroic or Villainous?[]

Despite being the main cause behind the creation of the Wither, thus being indirectly responsible for all the destruction it would cause, he ultimately lacks the malice needed to be considered an outright villain, as he had no way of knowing that leaving his world behind for so long would cause the creation of the Wither, nor is it ever implied that him leaving the world was done so with any evil intent, thus making him too indirect to be considered a villain.
While it is true that at the end of the music video he does attempt to kill the Wither, which could be seen as a heroic act seeing all the destruction the monster was killing, it’s possible he was ultimately doing it to save himself from being killed as opposed to any sort of heroic intent and said act takes up too little screentime to be considered meaningful heroics.

Appearance[]

From what little is seen from PlayerOne's appearance, he appears to take on a similar look to the standard Minecraft Steve Skin, being a person with tan skin, a light blue t-shirt, and dark blue pants.

Personality[]

Due to not having any lines of dialogue and only physically appearing at the end of the music video, PlayerOne's personality is ultimately unknown. From what can be picked up however, PlayerOne appears to be a devoted Minecraft player who doesn't really care much for his old world, with how he abandoned it and all of its residents (including his loyal wolf) for ten years with absolutely no signs of regret whatsoever. Though it's possible he may have cared at some point, we don't learn enough about him to learn whether this is true or not.

Biography[]

Not much is known about PlayerOne's background, what is known however is that ten years ago, he created a Minecraft World that he would presumably play on regularly, taming his very first pet, a pet wolf, who he would go on adventures with if the wolf's line about them wandering fallen kingdoms is to be believed.

At some point in time, PlayerOne would end up leaving his old world and venturing into a new one, leaving everyone in his old world behind for ten years without any signs of coming back. As a result of this, the mobs, feeling abandoned by their creator, would end up forming a cult lead by the First Zombie as well as the Wither Skeleton, they would convince the Wolf into joining their cause in getting revenge against PlayerOne.

Combined with all the other vengeful souls left behind by PlayerOne, the Wolf, Zombie, and Wither Skeleton would fuse together to become the Wither before storming PlayerOne's new home, causing mass amounts of destruction and killing dozens of innocent players.

Upon seeing this, PlayerOne, equipped with a diamond sword, would confront the Wither in an attempt to kill him off for good, only to end up being slain alongside all of his allies, his blood spattering all over a sword that was lodged into the ground.
