Introduced in Monster Hunter Freedom Unite, the Plum Daimyo Hermitaur is a Carapaceon and a subspecies of the Daimyo Hermitaur.
Physiology[]
This subspecies wears a Diablos skullshell rather than a Monoblos skullshell, and it has a purple and white carapace, unlike the ordinary Daimyo Hermitaur. The Plum Daimyo Hermitaur is weaker against Ice than Thunder, in contrast to its red sibling. Like Diablos, it has horns on its shell that can break.
Behavior[]
The Plum Daimyo Hermitaur is submissive until provoked or agitated, much like its cousin. It is a bit of a nomad, moving from place to place in pursuit of food because its area is so vast that it is impossible for it to defend.
Habitat[]
Like its red relative, the Plum Daimyo Hermitaur inhabits both desert and jungle habitats.
