Popo are Herbivores introduced in Monster Hunter 2.
Why aren't they heroic or villainous?[]
- It is because they are very docile and when one is attacked, the rest flee.
Physiology[]
Large herbivores, popo share physical characteristics with yaks and wooly mammoths. To protect themselves from the cold, they have long, fluffy fur covering them. The tops of their bodies have a lighter cream color, while the rest of their fur is dark brown. In addition to their large, drooping ears, this fur hides their eyes, making them invisible. Two enormous tusks that extend from the faces of both male and female Popo and twist up slightly at the end are present. Male Popo are bigger than females, and their tusks are bigger as well.
Behavior[]
Due to their docility, Popo will flee if a Wyvern enters their territory or if one of their group members is attacked. In more temperate regions, they will also congregate in groups when a massive monster, just like the Aptonoth.
