Posey Bloom is a supporting character from My Little Pony G5 and formerly served as the main antagonist of My Little Pony: Make Your Mark chapter 1, here she hated the return of magic and tried to get it banned from Maretime Bay. Afterwards, she became a better pony after it backfired and nearly caused the end of Equestria.

She is voiced by Kimberly-Ann Truong.

Appearance[]

Posey is a yellow earth pony with a pink mane and tail. Her hooves are a light brown color and her eyes are green. She wears a green bow in her mane which forms a ponytail. She also has one on her tail. She also wears a beaded necklace with a five-leafed clover. Her Cutie Mark consists of a ring of six pink tulips.

Personality[]

When Posey is first introduced, she is show as rude, pessimistic, hot-headed, and even xenophobic towards pegasi and unicorns. The reason why was because she felt insecure about Earth Ponies not having their own magic. This causes her to rally many earth ponies behind her to try and keep the other races from being in Maretime Bay. However, the disharmony causes her to nearly die when she's sucked into a void along with Windy.

After Sunny Starscout and her friends stopped the disharmony, Posey regretted her actions and expressed her jealousy to the five ponies and apologized after earth ponies finally received their own magic. After this, Posey is shown to be nicer despite still being rude at times.

She also is shown to feel lonely as shown in the Tell Your Tale episode, "P + P = BFFS" where after buying a bracelet that can make charms appear when interacting with the Boardtrot's attractions with a friend, it didn't work because Posey didn't have a friend until Pipp Petals decided to spend the day with her while the two wore the bracelets.

Why is she not heroic or villainous?[]

Despite being xenophobic towards unicorns and pegasi and hating magic at first, she never went out of her way to make them look bad other than just convince other earth ponies. Unlike Sprout Cloverleaf, who actually went out of his way to try and kill them with his giant robot.
Her only heroic action was singing alongside everypony to the Together Tree to help Sunny take down Opaline.

Trivia[]

She is the first My Little Pony G5 character to be on the Neutral Characters Wiki.
Her design resembles her G1 Counterpart and Fluttershy respectively.
