Principal Johnson is the main antagonist of the Jenius Jayden episode "Genius Kid Is Expelled From School". He is known for falsely expelling Jayden from school just for having autism, which he believes is a learning disability as he calls him "mentally deficient" for it.
Why he isn't heroic or villainous?[]
- He isn't a villain as his actions just amount to standard jerk and ableist behavior. Him falsely expelling Jayden from the school isn't villainous either as it would only result in him being fired rather than arrested.
Biography[]
In Episode 1, he and the electrician are trying to fix the power outage at the school. Jayden asks if he can help, but Principal Johnson underestimates him as he believes Jayden is only there as he thinks it's a game. The electrician, however, wants to hear what Jayden has to say, but Principal Johnson tries turning this down as he tells the electrician that Jayden has autism, therefore he cannot help him as he is barely passing his classes.
After Jayden gets his project sabotaged by Jeremy (which caused a fire), Principal Johnson decides to expel Jayden from the school, in which he hands his mother, Kathy a letter that calls his son mentally deficient, therefore he cannot attend the school. However, Kathy instead decides to sugarcoat the message so that it won't hurt Jayden's feelings.
Despite that however, the electrician still gives Jayden a chance to fix the school electricity, and it took them several days to do so, eventually allowing the AC to turn back on. Jayden tells Principal Johnson that he called him smart in the letter, but the latter is confused as it did not say that. In the end, it shows what the letter actually says, and Kathy shreds it.
