Rabbits are passive mobs from the video game, Minecraft.
Why aren’t they heroic or villainous?[]
- They are too passive to be either of the two.
Habitat[]
The most prevalent hue of rabbits, creamy rabbits are only found in deserts and their variations. In addition to being rather abundant, white and black-and-white rabbits spawn in snowy biomes such groves, snowy slopes, snowy plains, and snowy taigas. Although they can spawn in any non-snowy biome through spawn eggs, commands, spawners, or breeding, default rabbit colors like brown, black, and salt and pepper spawn naturally in flower woods, taigas, and meadows. Groups of an adult and one or two offspring spawn in each of these locations.
Behavior[]
Rather than walking, rabbits haphazardly jump around. They can leap nearly two blocks in the air. They move slowly toward players within eight blocks who are holding carrots, golden carrots, or dandelions. While pigs follow players who are holding carrots on a stick, rabbits do not. Rabbits also leap off cliffs to get carrots, but they do not enter lava to get them. When attacked, they run around at random. With the exception of slimes, magma cubes, and ghasts, all non-hostile rabbits stay away from players within eight blocks and the majority of hostile mobs within four blocks. Within ten blocks, they also stay away from wolves.
