Rachel Wilson is a minor character in The Amazing World of Gumball. She is Tobias' older sister and Darwin's former love interest.
She is voiced by Jessica McDonald.
Why isn't she heroic or villainous?[]
- In the only episode she had a major role in she just threw a party at her house and kissed Darwin on the cheek, which isn't heroic enough.
- Her viewing herself as superior to her brother Tobias and Miss Simian's class amounts to just standard jerk behavior, so she doesn't count as a villain.
Appearance[]
Rachel is a tall, rainbow humanoid who closely resembles her mother, Jackie. Her skin is turquoise, and her long, poofy hair is a linear gradient of yellow, orange, magenta, and pink. Rachel wears a white headband with gold stripes on her hair.
Rachel wears a white t-shirt, a yellow skirt with two stripes on the right side, and a pair of white sneakers with magenta stripes.
Personality[]
Rachel views herself as a higher-class student compared to Tobias and Miss Simian's class, calling them "dumb loser old babies." This indicates that she is somewhat discriminatory and condescending towards her younger peers. Initially, Rachel does not want Tobias's classmates to attend the party, but her brother blackmails her by threatening to tell their parents if she doesn't invite them. Left with no choice, Rachel reluctantly invites them to her party. However, Rachel insists that Miss Simian's class must bring a date to attend, showcasing her jerk-like, devious behavior.
When the party starts, none of Rachel's friends show up, leaving her devastated. A remorseful Darwin sees a sensitive Rachel crying outside and tries to comfort her by cleaning up the house after the party. Rachel seems to calm down and admits that Darwin isn't so bad for a kid. She happily kisses Darwin as a form of gratitude.
In some episodes or comics, Rachel is shown socializing with other classmates. For example, she sits next to Fuzzball in "The Ape" (though it is unknown if they are friends), hangs out with Gumball in "The Party," and in a comic called "Hidden Value," she has good terms with Anais, she hangs out with Penny and Carrie while waiting in line, and they also fight Bobert.

- Rachel used to have a page on the Heroes Wiki, before it was deleted due to her only throwing a party at her house and kissing Darwin on the cheek.
- She intended to make an appearance in Season 2, but since the creators and staff didn't like her, she was removed. She was originally intended to make an appearance in "The Hero," but was absent from the final episode. However, she would continue to appear in comics.
- In an episode of Darwin's Yearbook called, "Clayton," Tobias reveals Rachel went off to college, explaining her absence after Season 1.
- Many fans had originally speculated that she was sent to the Void before this information was revealed. Even then, it remains a popular idea in fanon.
