Racing Sports Network is a neutral organization featured in the Cars franchise, appearing in almost every feature film of the series. It's a news channel that reports on racing events in the United States and other countries.
History[]
Past[]
Racing Sports Network was founded in the 1940s under the name "WRSN-TV", and reported on events like Piston Cup Racing since at least 1950s, recording, among other incidents, Fabulous Hudson Hornet's career-ending crash.
Cars[]
RSN covered the Dinoco 400 race, with Bob Cutlass and Darrell Cartrip providing commentary. The channel also reported on the aftermath of the three-way tie between Lightning McQueen, Chick Hicks and The King, and McQueen's disappearance. They eventually found McQueen in Radiator-Springs thanks to Doc Hudson's call, after which they covered the tie-breaking race.
Cars 2[]
RSN reported on the preparations for the World Grand Prix, as well as the championship itself. Brent Mustangburger, Darrell Cartrip and David Hobbscap provided commentary and became witnesses to the racers' engine explosions orchestrated by the Lemons.

Cars 3[]
RSN reported about the introduction of next-gen racecars into the Piston Cup racing series, and them overtaking and squeezing out older stock cars.
