Along with competing in the Radiator Springs Grand Prix, Rip Clutchgoneski took part in all three World Grand Prix events. Rip might be regarded as the competition's rookie due to his low origins from an unidentified nation and lack of championships.
Rip did his best in the first race, which took place in Tokyo. He started the race in fifth place from the back (the top competitors started this race from the back of the line). Despite being spotted at the back of the group throughout the early half of the race, he moved up after the dirt segment.After battling his way up to third place, he was forced to abandon the race after the lemons blew out his motor. He finished in the last place or very close to it in the subsequent races. Alongside Raoul ÇaRoule, he was among the final racers to go down in the massive pileup at Porto Corsa. At that time, he was ranked eighth. In the London Race, Rip Clutchgoneski was spotted finishing last. He was observed in Radiator Springs in the fourth or seventh place.
Trivia[]
- Rip's original role in the movie was to die from the Allinol explosion to demonstrate how dangerous the Lemons were. This is even referenced by his full name, which is derived from the phrase "Rest in peace, Clutch gone to the sky". In the final script for the movie, however, he survives the explosion of his engine.
- The reason why he represents a fictional country, New Rearendia is because during his suppose to be death, it won't offend any country.
