~ The Narrator describing the Run of the Mill Girls.

Betty: Come and get me, punk!
Beatrice: You’re no match for the three of us! Give up!
~ The Run of the Mill Girls playing Save the World III.

The Run of the Mill Girls are normal girls versions of the Powerpuff Girls that appears in Professor's dream when he thinks what happened if he didn't added accidentally the Chemical X when he created the girls. They make their only appearance in the episode "Oops, I Did It Again".

Like their Powerpuffs counterparts, Bertha was voiced by Catherine Cavadini, Beatrice by Tara Strong and Betty by E.G. Daily.

Appearances[]

The Run of the Mill Girls have similar appearances to the Powerpuff Girls but having normal girl traits. They are taller, their heads are less circular and their bodies are less cylindrical. Their eyes are smaller and don't have contours with their dresses colors and have ears, noses and cheeks. They have fingers in their hands an they have feet with normal soles and toes. Their hairstyles and accessories also have more realistic traits.

Personalities[]

Their personalities have the same basis that the Powerpuff Girls, but their lives without superpowers and any responsability to save the world has affected on it.

On one side they seem to enjoy being normal girls and having normal lives the whole time, but on the other hand they find their lives something boring and difficult. Since they don't have superpowers they take longer to prepare for school and they have to go on the Professor's car, they can get hurt and they also get sick. They are also uncapable of simply opening a jar of pickes, something that disappoints them.

They time that the Powerpuff Girls expends fighting evil they use to do normal activities like playing video games, bicycling, brush their hairs and painting their nails, doing sports, get better grades, sell cookies as girl scouts, talking with friends or looking on some boys in the class. Sometimes they also get into trouble and are punished by the Professor.

They have much less sense of justice than the Powerpuff Girls, since they just find boring the traffic jams caused by the monster without considering how serious the threat is.

Why They Arent Heroic or Villainous?[]

  • The Professor's deam fantasize about the case in which the Powerpuff Girls were normal girls so, not having superpowers, they haven't fought evil even once. So all her goodness is based on being kind to their family and friends.
  • At the same way all their bad actions shown in the episode are minor mischief common on kids of their age, being remotely far from being villainous.

Trivia[]

  • The appearances of the Run of the Mill Girls were based on redesigns that Craig McCracken briefly considered for the Powerpuff Girls after seeing the negative reactions from the test audiences for the What A Cartoon! pilots.
