In Monster Hunter Portable 3rd, the Flying Wyvern Sand Barioth was introduced as a subspecies of Barioth.
Why aren't they heroic or villainous?[]
Physiology[]
This Barioth subspecies is orange-yellow in hue, with a blood-red head and deep indigo tusks that are similarly blood-red at the points.
Abilities[]
With its ability to create a massive dust devil, the Sand Barioth may launch itself toward Hunters.
Behavior[]
In order to stay cool in the sweltering heat of their homes, Sand Barioth are known to soak themselves in the blood of their kills. They are also far more violent than their icy cousins.
Habitat[]
The Trese Desert and Sandy Plains are home to the Sand Barioth.
