Selena Sprocket was the the heir to Sprocket Aviation before her death in 2027 and a minor character in Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney - Spirit of Justice, the sixth game in the Ace Attorney series. She was the older sister to Sorin Sprocket, and engaged to be wed right before her death in a car accident.
Biography[]
On March 8th, 2027, Sorin Sprocket was driving and crashed the car, injuring both him and his passenger, Selena. The surgeon operating on her was Pierce Nichody, her fiancé. She urged Nichody to operate on her brother first despite her injuries being more severe, mainly due to her care for him. She convinced him, and Sorin's life was saved, but Selena did not survive. This caused Sorin to have serious trauma, giving him anterograde amnesia, Nichody to hate Sorin, wanting revenge for his mere survival, and caused servant Dumas Gloomsbury to be framed as the driver, causing him to have a similar grudge. This ended up culminating in Nichody and Gloomsbury planning to kill Sorin and his bride, Ellen Wyatt, to take revenge for what happened to them. However, Nichody ended up killing Gloomsbury after the plan went wrong and he failed to kill either, in order to ensure nobody learned of his plot.
Personality[]
Selena was beloved by the public, and deemed a worth future president to Sprocket Aviation. She has been stated to be intelligent, and shown to be caring, as she sacrificed her own life just to save her brother.
Trivia[]
- Her Japanese last name, "Haguruma" (歯車), means gears, and a sprocket is a type of gear, so this presumably serves a subtle nod to her Japanese last name.
