Seltas Queen are female Neopteronsintroduced in Monster Hunter 4.
Why aren't they heroic or villainous?[]
Physiology[]
With an exoskeleton that resembles armor covering its body, the Seltas Queen is a very huge Neopteron that resembles a beetle. She has orange spines and beige streaks, but her primary hue is a glossy green. Two of her six limbs are used for digging and grabbing prey, while the other four make contact with the earth. She also has a lengthy, segmented tail that ends in a big, pincer-like structure. Although she differs greatly in appearance, Seltas Queen is the female equivalent of Seltas.
Abilities[]
The Seltas Queen can render her prey helpless by using her armed tail or big, heavy limbs. She also utilizes the Water element, often launching massive water globs in a fast-paced manner. When necessary—or, in her case, as frequently as possible—the female Seltas Queen can use a pheromone to draw Seltas. Every time a Seltas dies, another will promptly rescue her. The hunter may also get soiled by these pheromones.
She and Seltas frequently'merge' together during attacks, with Seltas perched atop Seltas Queen, because they are frequently spotted together. It is possible for both of them to execute combination attacks or even chain attack combos. In an attempt to crush the hunter, Seltas lifts his partner and practically throws her down in one of the most insane strikes. Additionally, Seltas can use his wings as a kind of "propeller" to help the Seltas Queen charge. Similarly, when the Queen charges, the Seltas will honk.
Behavior[]
There is a close symbiotic relationship between Seltas Queen and her male counterpart, Seltas. She is usually accompanied by a male who can lift her and carry her anywhere because she is unable to fly. Additionally, the two frequently depend on one another for security, particularly during the Queen's slumber. But when she needs energy, she is known to be incredibly hostile toward her male counterpart, grabbing him violently or even killing and eating him.
Habitat[]
Felyne hunts Seltas Queen in the hills and forests, while Seltas Queen resides in the Ancestral Steppe, Heaven's Mount, Primal Forest, and Everwood. Because they may reproduce and offer each other security and transportation, she typically lives with her male counterpart, Seltas.
