Monster Hunter G introduces the Silver Rathalos, a male Flying Wyvern and a Rare Species of Rathalos.
Physiology[]
Despite certain variances, he still possesses the typical traits of a rare species of Rathalos. From head to tail, this rare species has a gleaming silver carapace with black lines along the spine. He is noticeably a tad bigger than the typical Rathalos. His head, chest, and the space between his neck and wings are engulfed in blue flames as it enters its "Incandescent" stage.
Abilities[]
Silver Rathalos is far more dangerous than the common species, preferring aerial attacks over ground-based ones, and frequently bombards hunters with his triple fireball and aerial claw attacks. When on the ground, he tends to use far more tail whips than bites and will charge hunters less frequently. Additionally, Silver Rathalos seems to go into a state of rage more often than his red or blue counterparts, and he can enter the Incandescent state, which intensifies his attacks.
Habitat[]
He is most frequently spotted at the summit of old towers, but he is rarely found in the swamp, old swamp, forest, or hills. In order to hunt Silver Rathalos in special events, where they are placed in arenas and compete against Hunters, the Hunters Guild searches other regions for them.
