Skid is the main protagonist of the DeviantArt Spooky Month Fan-Comic comic A Story Before Bed, which was made by BlackBunnyDraws. He is the son of his presumably deceased father and his mother Lila. He was was later adopted by Bob Velseb after the latter had killed Lila.
Why Isn't He Heroic or Villainous?[]
- Unlike his original counterpart, he doesn't show to have enough heroic qualities outside of being a naive, sweet little kid, therefore meaning that he is deemed not heroic enough to be a hero.
Biography[]
Due to the fact the story is explained in Bob Velseb's perspective, not much is known on this version of Skid other than her being the son of Lila who is a naive and innocent boy that loves Halloween. The story would be told as a "Horror Story before Bed" for Skid.
One day, when his mother Lila opened the door to see bob Velseb at the door in Halloween only to then be killed with a flaying knife by Bob Velseb, who is in a devil costume, after she game him her home address for his "surprise" for Halloween.
When Bob Velseb hears the cries of baby Skid, Bob Velseb would go to the hallway to find him, with the morbid curiosity about hurting a baby and wondering about what would eating a baby would be like.
However, the moment he got Skid out of the crib, Skid would stop crying and would instead smile at Bob, much to the latter's surprise. Skid's innocence and sweetness made Bob Velseb doubt his intentions. Bob Velseb would instead take Skid to adopt and raise him as his own son.
In the end of the comic, Skid was in his bed, with Skid not knowing that the story actually did happen, but liking the "story" Bob Velseb told him.
Personality[]
In this adaptation, since the story was centered around Bob Velseb, Skid is shown to be a naive and sweet kid, just like his original counterpart. Skid would likely be very much be the same personality as his original counterpart.
