Biography[]
Slider competes with 35 other drivers at the Motor Speedway of the South in the movie Cars. One of the numerous people engaged in Chick Hicks' massive disaster is Slider, who collides with Floyd Mulvihill and sustains some minor injuries. He manages to keep racing in spite of this, but he comes in second to last.
Slider retires in between the events of Cars and Cars 3, but his sponsor is absent from Cars 3.

Slider is a black and yellow Capitol Motors Verve XT with the number 74 painted in white on the top and doors. The Sidewall Shine insignia is printed below his back tires, beneath his camera, and on his hood.
