Monster Hunter Portable 3 introduced Steel Uragaan, a Brute Wyvern and a subspecies of Uragaan.
Physiology[]
Instead of the ordinary species' golden hide, this variation seems to have a deep metallic blue hide. It is hypothesized that the monster's consumption of various ores is the cause of its changed coloring.
Abilities[]
The boulders it throws will burn for a few seconds after being hurled, causing more fire damage if they strike a hunter before they fall to the ground. It can also use a sulfuric yellow gas to inflict the Soiled status. When exploded, these will likewise produce soiling gas.
Habitat[]
The habitats of the Steel Uragaan and its cousin are not entirely dissimilar. Like the ordinary Uragaan, it spends the majority of its existence in the Volcano due to the plentiful ore supply. Unexpectedly, Steel Uragaan occasionally inhabits the deserted island's moderate climate.
