Stupe is a pilot in the Dumb Ways to Die series who originally got decapitated after attempting to teach himself how to fly.

Appearance

Wearing a brown pilot's cap, Stupe is a bean with a lime capsule body. He has the power to separate his head from his body after he dies.

Videos

When Stupe was observed trying to teach himself how to fly an airplane, it overturned and crashed, leading to his decapitation. Instead of dancing, clapping, or swaying throughout the chorus, he repeatedly removes and reattaches his head to his body. He throws his head into the air when the "ie-ie-ie" clip starts, and then, like the majority of the characters, he sways his arms.

Games

In the older versions of the game, he is the 20th and last bean to be unlocked, requiring 3800 points; however, in the most recent version, he is the 114th item to be unlocked, requiring 2691200 points.

In order to keep Stupe and his plane in the air, the player had to make any noise in the microphone before the 1.7 update, even if blowing was the command. Stupe will continue to fly safely if he wins. If not, he crashes and gets beheaded once more. The previous version may be "turned off" in the settings. To keep Stupe's plane bobbing up and down between the clouds and the earth in the updated version, the user must tap the screen. Both winning and losing still result in the same thing, except now Stupe will crash if he is trapped in a cloud, but his face will be slightly obscured.
