Susan Heffley is one of the tritagonists (alongside Frank Heffley) of the Diary of a Wimpy Kid book series and its' film adaptions (and is a minor character in the first two Rowley Jefferson spin-off books). She is the mother of mother of Greg, Rodrick and Manny and the wife of Frank Heffley.
Why aren't they heroic or villainous?[]
- She isn't a hero as all of her good actions only amount to her being a nice and caring parent.
- She isn't a villain with her worse actions only amounting to being a killjoy.
Personality[]
She is very nice, social, and intelligent, for example, at the end of the first part she tried to convince Greg to talk to Rowley and be friends again. In the second part, she could be seen as more dangerous. When Rodrick and Greg got into a fight at church because of the chocolate on Greg's pants, Susan spent some time explaining to them that she was full of embarrassment and that all her friends were there.
Later, when Susan, Frank and Manny were leaving for Crazy Falls, Susan tells them that if they don't make up for themselves, she will do it for them, and they don't want that. When it turned out that Manny was sick, they returned home and Susan apologized to Rodrick and Greg for yelling at them. Later, Susan found out from Greg that they had a party. Susan promised she wouldn't tell Frank as long as Rodrick and Greg worked it out. We later find out that Greg took photos at the party and Frank found out.
Susan was mad at the boys again and she and Frank Heffley took them to Grandpa's. Then at the talent show, Susan danced to the Loder Dipper and Rodrick was unaware that everyone was clapping because Susan was dancing. In the third part, Susan was cheerful, smiling and nice again.
