Terri Ardor is a minor yet important character from the 2019 horror film, Midsommar. She was the younger sister of Dani Ardor and suffered from severe mental disorders which led her to take her own life and that of her parents.
Appearance[]
Terri was a Caucasian woman in her mid 20s. She had fair skin and long wavy light brown hair, along with green eyes. She wore a simple orange shirt when she died but would in the later hallucinations wear the long white traditional robes that the The Hårgas wear.
Personality[]
While specifics of Terri's personality are not given, her actions highlight that she suffers from severe emotional strain and turmoil. Having Bipolar Disorder, it was stated that Terri suffered from mood swings and depressive episodes, which also had a profound impact on Terri’s relationships with her family, eventually leading her to seek solace in death together with her parents.

Background[]
Terri Ardor was born and raised in the United States and lived with her parents and older sister, Dani. At some point in Terri's life, she started developing severe mental problems regarding that of depression and Bipolar disorder, which followed her well into adulthood. Terri would have manic episodes that in extreme cases made her become suicidal resulted in her being incapable of living by herself, making her live with her parents.
Midsommar[]
During a typical normal day, Terri got into an argument with her parents for unknown reasons. Suffering from severe depression and having an already warped lack of control over her own emotions, made Terri decide that it was the day to finally end not just her life, but of her parents as well. While her parents were asleep, Terri gave a final message to Dani. Terri would fill the house with Carbon Monoxide and taped a hose going from a car exhaust pipe into her mouth. She and her parents both died of carbon monoxide poisoning.
Terri and her parents are found by emergency workers who are seen taking the bodies away.
