Terri and Terry Perry are two of the five tritagonists of the Monsters University movie.
Biography[]
Is having two brains truly preferable to having one when it comes to Terry and Terri?Terry with a "y" is a great romantic who is quick to see the bright side in any circumstance, while older brother Terri with a "i" wears a more pessimistic view on life. These quarreling brothers have nothing in common. They might be able to put their heads together—literally—and find their way at Monsters University's Scare Program if they can set aside their differences long enough to work with their Oozma Kappa brothers.
In Monsters University, they identify themselves and assist Mike and Sulley with their admission into Oozma Kappa.
They both are battered and bloated by the course's stinging glow urchins in the first Scare Games obstacle, the Toxicity obstacle. They describe how adept they are in the arts of magic and illusion when Mike speaks to the group later. The two yell and dance incredibly loudly to divert the librarian during the following Scare Games round. They are seen dancing with PNK members at the ROR party before they and the other OK members are humiliated.
Terry and Terri return to the house looking just as defeated as the others, and Mike convinces them to watch Monsters, Inc. to lift their spirits. The gang is more motivated than ever the next day to strive to win the games after successfully evading the security guards with the others. The twins also have a sweatshirt made by Ms. Squibbles with the OK sign on it. The group keeps winning the games, which builds up to the finale, where everyone gets to be scared. They will face Chet Alexander from the ROR squad when it is their time. When inside the simulator, they employ their skill at deception to make the child simulation appear to be a real person. They surprise it by revealing their actual appearance as they go nearer.
When the team wins, they all celebrate until Mike realizes that Sulley cheated to make him appear good, at which point he breaks down and leaves. However, they attempt to save Mike together with the other members of the OK after learning that Mike entered the human realm. They get the security officers to become distracted, allowing Sulley to enter the entrance that Mike did. Roz informs Terry that Dean Hardscrabble will decide what happens to Mike and Sulley when they return, accompanied by the CDA.
Terry and Terri appear on a scare card in the movie's credits, implying that they finally graduated and started working as scarers for Monsters, Inc.
