The Therizinosaurus is a minor antagonist from the movie, Jurassic World Dominion.

The cloned Therizinosaurus was 10 meters long (32.8 feet), 5 meters height (16.4 feet), and weighed 4,935 kg (5.4 tons). It was smaller than the original and had a horizontal gate instead of a more vertical one. Therizinosaurus possessed huge arms and hands that ended in three big claws, a long neck that ended in a comparatively tiny, boxy, and beak-shaped head, and feathers covering the rear of its limbs and torso. Gray in color, the Therizinosaurus had blue above its eyes and crimson on its back. This is a very aggressive animal that will fight anything that is in its domain with great ferocity. Therizinosaurus in the valley was blinded in its right eye at some point in its existence, and it has a cataract-like white coating over its lens. Consequently, the Therizinosaurus would utilize its remaining left eye, smell, hearing, and echolocation to navigate the refuge.
Biography[]
Biosyn cloned a Therizinosaurus, which was housed in Biosyn Sanctuary. Claire Dearing was hanging from the seat and parachute she had ejected from when she came into contact with the Therizinosaurus following her escape from a downing aircraft. Due of its eyesight, the dinosaur first missed her and instead chose to graze and fatally smack a nearby deer. Claire took advantage of the situation to unbuckle and tumble to the ground, but the Therizinosaurus noticed her presence because of the accident. Claire crawled into a pond, and the Therizinosaurus started pacing around looking for her. Eventually, Claire made it far enough into the pond to immerse herself completely and wait for the dinosaur to go.
Lewis Dodgson accidentally set a massive forest fire in the valley while attempting to dispose of his bioengineered locusts, forcing the evacuation of the Therizinosaurus to the Biosyn facility. Kayla Watts used a flare to divert the Giganotosaurus from her and the evacuating Owen Grady, Claire Dearing, Maisie Lockwood, Alan Grant, Ellie Sattler, Ian Malcolm, Ramsay Cole, and Henry Wu during the Tyrannosaurus's rampage and fight with Rexy. The Therizinosaurus followed the flare after the Giganotosaurus was able to knock the tyrannosaur unconscious. When assaulted, the Therizinosaurus retaliated quickly, cutting the bigger carcharodontosaurid with slicing wounds; nonetheless, the Giganotosaurus bit the Therizinosaurus, removing a claw from its left hand. Rexy killed Therizinosaurus by ramming the Giganotosaurus into its claws when he regained consciousness and the dinosaur was unable to identify which opponent posed a larger threat. It is likely that the Therizinosaurus, along with any other members of its type, is still living in the now-closed international park or is still out in the wild.
