Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate introduces the Tigerstripe Zamtrios, a subspecies of Zamtrios that are amphibians.
Physiology[]
Its belly and fins are more blueish, while its body is orange-brown with hints of red.
Abilities[]
The sandy Tigerstripe Zamtrios has the same attacks as its arctic cousin, but it appears to be able to employ them more effectively. For starters, it can inflate itself instantly and launch a rolling strike without waiting for sufficient damage to be dealt. Additionally, in this form, it can leap, clearing an area in a single bound. Additionally, it has the ability to shoot a stream of water, which enables it to deflate and return to its usual size whenever it pleases. In contrast to the normal Zamtrios, it is unable to form armor around its body, but it can spit globs of paralyzing goo at adversaries.
