~ Sidorovich |
Traders are the deuteragonists of the Ukrainian FPS Survival Horror franchise S.T.A.L.K.E.R..
Traders are the most influential individuals in the Zone. They are the ones that smuggle supplies to the Zone and from the Zone.
History[]
Traders were seemingly funded by Sidorovich to find a way to the center. To find the way to the central, the Traders hired different stalkers for different jobs, usually to scout the area, find certain artifacts or just clear the area from mutants. For example, Shustry's Group were sent by Sidorovich to observe the Military, for Trader to understand how to enter their outpost or Mechenyj, that was hired for different tasks, from finding artifacts to contract killing.
Mechenyj, played an important part in the Traders' plans. After Shustry's Group failed in their mission, Sidorovich recruited the newly appeared Mechenyj and sent him to save Shustry and to steal documents from the Military on Agraprom, Sidorovich also gave Mechenyj a lot less essential tasks, such as clearing territories from mutants and looking for artifacts.
After Mechenyj successfully stole the document from the Military, Mechenyj was sent to Sidorovich's partner, the Barkeeper, at Duty's base, from there Mechenyj worked for the Barkeeper and helped him open the path to the center, while finishing small tasks. Mechenyj successfully opened the path, the Barkeep sent a group of experienced stalkers to help Mechenyj fight through the dead city of Pripyat.
It's unknown if the Traders discovered the legends of the Zone.
