The Tyranamissiasaurus Rex is the main antagonist of the Cars on the Road episode, Dino Park.

When the tour guide, Laura, starts talking about Mimi, McQueen and Mater approach the fossils and models of the carnivorous animals. Mater expresses his disinterest in the conversation both verbally and visibly, so McQueen tells him to shut up and asks about the species that survived the asteroid event. Laura responds that while the remark is largely accurate, there were other circumstances. Mater begins to feel sleepy during Laura's speech at this point. Mater and McQueen discover themselves traveling back in time as cavecars. When Mater asks him what he and McQueen are doing 50 million years ago, McQueen responds that it is scientifically impossible because everyone knows that dinosaurs existed before the more sophisticated models. Soon after, McQueen sees a Tyranamissiasaurus Rex and approaches it for a closer look, but Mater stops him and tells him not to. As soon as the Tyranamissiasurus sees McQueen, he starts to take him up and devour him, but Mater uses his stone hook to save him and strikes the carnosaur. The dinosaur quickly lets go of McQueen and turns its attention to pursuing the two cavecars. The Tyranamissiasurus is soon attacked by a Spinocrankshaftorex, which also bites McQueen as he tries to provide some information before Mater and he manage to flee. When McQueen and Mater attempt to flee, both carosaurs are knocked down, and McQueen is once more captured by the Tyranamissiasurus from his wooden spoiler. Mater returns and attempts to save McQueen from the carosaurus, but he is mocked by the children as he screams that he will save McQueen and wakes up from his dream.
