~ Alan Grant upon seeing the Bull |
The Tyrannosaur Bull (not to be confused with the Tyrannosaur Buck.) was a minor antagonist in Jurassic Park III and one of two posthumous overarching characters (alongside John Hammond) of the rest of the franchise.
His vocal effects were done by Frank Welker, just voicing Rexy in the Jurassic Park franchise, Buck and Doe in The Lost World: Jurassic Park.
Biography[]
In 2001, Alan Grant and some other people crash landed on Isla Sorna after being attacked by a Spinosaurus. After fleeing from the same Spinosaurus, they find a dead Parasaurolophus and also find the Tyrannosaur Bull eating the dead animal. The predator bellows loudly at the group and so Grant and the others run from him, only to run into the Spinosaurus with Grant falling in-between some tree branches. The Bull, who had followed the humans, began to fight the Spinosaurus. As the fight began, the Rex stepped on the branches that Grant was stuck in-between with Grant screaming in terror as this happened. the Rex then bit and pushed the Spinosaurus down onto the forest floor and shaking the attacker. The Spinosaurus gets back up and gets itself out of the Bull's jaws as they continue to snap at each other. Suddenly the Bull headbutts the Spinosaurus over, but the Spinosaurus quickly gets back up and bites the Bull's neck. The Spinosaurus uses its more functional arms to grab the Bull as he struggled and breaks his neck, killing him instantly and sending his body crashing to the ground. As the human run from the scene, the Spinosaurus roars in victory.
