Vampire (Ru.: Упырь; Uk. Упир) and Clumsy (Ru.: Неумёха; Uk.: Нездара) are optional minor antagonists in the Ukrainian FPS Survival Horror video game S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Shadow Of Chernobyl.
A duo with a unsavory reputation from the Garbage region. Vampire is a target of Barkeep's assassination quests.
Personalities[]
Not much can be said about Vampire's personality due to his minor appearance. But was described as someone who was born under a lucky star. Many stalkers rumored that he is far more villainous, a serial killer who goes on expeditions where nobody survives except him. Even Barkeep himself felt threated by him. Nonetheless, it's not confirmed in anyway, maybe he is simply too lucky and it's make him unlucky.
Clumsy is a incompetent, dimwitted and a cowardly stalker. Hardly makes any money in the Zone and lives on doles from other stalkers. Not a popular companion due to his plain uselessness and incompetence. Always sticks to groups of experienced stalkers, due to his cowardness. He seems to care for Vampire as he is the only who becomes hostile if the player attacks Vampire.
Appearances[]
Vampire wears a commonly used by Loners Sunrise Suit, consisting of light military bulletproof vest and a jumpsuit made out of rubberized fabric with a light military make up.
Clumsy wears a Leather Jacket used by the majority of rookie stalker, constating of a leather anorak with blue trousers tucked into hiking boots. He also wears a ski mask that hides his face.
Biographies[]
Vampire, born under a lucky star. At least five times was member of stalkers' expeditions where he every time was the only survivor. It's caused to the vast majority of stalkers to stay away from him on account of the bad luck he is said to bring. Since that roamed the Zone on his own.
Clumsy, was born in the early 90s. He lost everything and everyone in the Big Land before deciding to come to the Zone. He barely made a living in the Zone, but he simply had no other place to go to. A common person at the Zone, but never goes alone. Always trying to stick to groups of experienced stalkers. Despite his frequents in the Zone, hardly makes money and is plain useless in combat. It is known that he owes money to many people. His whole life in the Zone depends on other people.
At some point prior the events, Clumsy and Vampire met and decided to work together due to their similar situations. Both have unsavory reputations and both are practically outcasts. They will most likely end up on the pig farm in the south of the Dark Valley, along with the Scammers - other stalkers with unsavory reputation, due to their engagement in con artistry.
Vampire, due to his reputation and come backs as a lone survivor caught the eye of the Barkeep, who find Vampire's character as threating and "evil". He hires Mechenyj to get rid of the "scumbag". Clumsy will be the only one who will get hostile. The player can either kill Clumsy or let him be.

- Survival Luck: Vampire is described as a "stalker born under a lucky star" due to him being the sole survivor in many expeditions that end up lethal.
- Silent Marksmanship (Via Noiseless Viper): Vampire have the Noiseless Viper which is a unique variation of the Viper 5 submachine gun. The Noiseless version features a non-detachable silencer. Unlike the basic Viper with a mounted silencer, this version is much more silent and significantly more durable.

- Despite Vampire's villainous role. He isn't on Villains Wiki due to the lack of conformation about any of his crimes.
- Both Vampire and Clumsy are based on characters from Roadside Picnic:
- Vampire is based on Arthur 'The Vulture' Burbridge from the Soviet Science-Fiction novel Roadside Picnic. Both Vulture and Vampire have a unpleasant reputation for coming back as a sole survivor from failed expeditions. And both have rumors about them abandoning stalkers for die, or killing them themselves via luring them into anomalies.
- Clusmy is loosely-based on Vulture's son, who has the same name. Arthur. Both Clumsy and Arthur Jr. are unpredictable and dimwitted. However they contain a majot difference: Arthur Jr. is a kid with idealistic views on the world and unable to understand the Zone's danger, while Clumsy is 'loser' who can't make a normal living in the Zone and lives by doles from others.
- Vampire is one of the neutral unique weapon users, possessing the Noiseless Viper. Other neutrals being Fiend's Sniper Obokan, Master's Lightened IL 86, Sparrow's Noiseless Kora, Twig's Sniper SGI and Barin's Tunder 5.45. Also there's the Tunnel Stalker's Viper 5 9x18, but unlike others, he isn't a unique character.
