The Volvidon are a species that are from the science fantasy videogame, Monster Hunter Portable 3rd.
Physiology[]
A monster of middling stature, Volvidon is somewhat bigger than an Aptonoth. Its crimson armor plates are divided into sections around the middle, enabling the Volvidon to coil into a ball. It has a very long tongue that resembles a chameleon and is coated in sticky saliva.
Abilities[]
It may spew forth a liquid that paralyzes opponents and causes soiling by an offensive stench. The Volvidon, a fanged beast, employs moves akin to those of Arzuros and Lagombi. Its lengthy tongue is used to entice enemies and prey to its mouth. Not only does it help with mobility, but when it rolls into a ball, it may crush enemies in battle.
Behavior[]
Volvidon will usually stay out of danger, although it may be shockingly ferocious when cornered. It is an insectivore that feeds on Neopterons with the help of its long, sticky tongue.
Habitat[]
The Volcano and the Sandy Plains are home to Volvidon. Though it was once believed to only exist in regions with intense heat, it has also lately been observed in the Deserted Island.
